This guide to the best paths and trails along the scenic byways of the Niagara, Buffalo, Rochester, and Southern Tier regions includes hikes for every age and ability. The book is based on the late Bruce Kershner’s original Secret Places: Scenic Treasures of Western New York and Southern Ontario, a beloved title that is long out of print. This book updates and adds even more outdoor adventure to the original. Co-authors Jennifer Hillman and Bill McKeever will be on hand to sign copies.
100 Things to Do in Buffalo Before You Die, by Elizabeth Licata, is full of exciting experiences, and reinvigorated attractions, including such recently transformed landmarks as the AKG Buffalo and Seneca One. The book also pays special attention to Buffalo’s always-strong food game. This guide to the best the region offers is perfect for newcomers, visitors or even those who think they’ve seen it all. Elizabeth Licata is an editorial writer and columnist for the Buffalo News and was editor of Buffalo Spree magazine for 23 years. She’ll be present to sign copies.

Authors Budd Bailey and GregTranter, who have both written other books about professional sports and have decades of experience in sports journalism and history, will be present to sign copies.
