100 Things to Do in Buffalo Before You Die, by Elizabeth Licata, is full of exciting experiences, and reinvigorated attractions, including such recently transformed landmarks as the AKG Buffalo and Seneca One. The book also pays special attention to Buffalo’s always-strong food game. This guide to the best the region offers is perfect for newcomers, visitors or even those who think they’ve seen it all. Elizabeth Licata is an editorial writer and columnist for the Buffalo News and was editor of Buffalo Spree magazine for 23 years. She’ll be present to sign copies.

The Buffalo Bills: An Illustrated Timeline of a Storied Team, by Greg Tranter and Budd Bailey, recounts the amazing highs and discouraging lows during the 60 years the team has played football, including record-breaking performances and the team's four straight Super Bowl appearances in the early 1990s. Book Talk, Walk & Signing at the old Schoelkopf Elevator site at Niagara Parks, Niagara Gorge area.

Join Jennifer and Bill to learn more about the upper and lower trails, and the ancient old growth white cedars that dot the cliffs of the Niagara Gorge. We’ll take short walk along the upper Niagara Gorge trail and look for the cedars, then we’ll take the elevator ride down to the lower level.

This is an easy walk that is wheeled-accessible. Restrooms are nearby.

The event not only celebrates our local creative community, but it helps fund keeping the park open.”

Guided Hike and Tour of the tiny “Miracle Chapel”
Join Jennifer, Bill and Courtney at Stella Niagara Preserve for a guided tour of the preserve including 5-mile meadow, the Last Landing, and several spiritual sites including the Grotto of Bernadette of Lourdes, the tiny Miracle Chapel on the River, and the Kennedy Peace Memorial - all notably painted in sgrafffito by Polish artist Joseph Slawinski.
